STANDARD TRADE POLICY
- We accept gently used books for trade credit.
- We grant trade credit for HALF of what we will sell the book for. Books that require repair or cleaning will be allowed slightly less.
- Books that were recent releases and priced as such, but have since been out more than one year, will be allowed standard trade credit for that type of book.
- Books that were released less than one year ago qualify as newer releases and receive credit for one-half of the newer release prices applicable.
- Store credit may be used for up to HALF of the purchase of USED books that were not special orders.
- We will fill out a card with your total store credit and give it to you. We do NOT maintain a record of your credit. Don't lose your card!

EXCEPTIONS TO THE TRADE POLICY
Books that are badly damaged may be refused.
Books that have ANY of the following WILL be refused
More than superficial water damage
Visible marks of chewing or biting
Stains due to pet urine / feces
Hardcovers with missing dust jackets
Covers torn completely off
Loose pages falling out
Stains due to grease or dirt that cannot be wiped off
If a book was purchased from us with existing damage as described above it still may be refused for trade.
Please check your books for damage before purchase.
Books having some damage that CAN be repaired may be accepted for reduced credit.
If you are bringing books that have been in a garage or on a porch, please check for spiders and rodents, and remove same.
